Privacy
Short version: this is a static directory. We don't run accounts, logins, forms or a database, and we don't collect personal information about you.
Effective date: October 25, 2026
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no login, no contact form and no newsletter. We don't set our own cookies and we don't run our own analytics or advertising trackers.
The filters and sorting on city pages run entirely in your browser; your choices aren't sent anywhere or saved.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That processing is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Third-party scripts and tags
- AvantLink (home page only). The home page loads a small script from AvantLink, an affiliate network, to verify that we own this site. When it loads, your browser contacts AvantLink's servers, which can see standard request information (like your IP address and browser) and may set or read their own cookies. See AvantLink's privacy policy.
- Impact site-verification tag. Our pages include a verification meta tag for the Impact partner network. It's a line of text in the page code, not a script, so it doesn't load anything or collect data.
Other than that, pages only load our own files. Maps and facility websites are plain links; nothing from them loads until you click.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some outbound links are, or may become, affiliate links (for example to RVshare through CJ, or Outdoorsy through AvantLink). If you click one, the partner site and its affiliate network may set a cookie or otherwise record that you came from us, so we can be credited if you book or buy. That happens on their sites, under their privacy policies, not ours. We don't receive your name, payment details or other personal information from them, just aggregate reports of clicks and commissions. See our affiliate disclosure for more.
Links to other sites
Listings link to facility operators' websites, OpenStreetMap and partner sites. Their privacy practices are their own.
If you email us
If you choose to email us, we'll receive your email address and whatever you write, and we'll use it only to reply or act on your request (for example, correcting or removing a listing).
Changes and contact
If what the site does changes (for example, adding analytics), we'll update this page and its effective date. Questions? Email rvboatstorage@mail.grokbot.com.
